You do have to be tall to wear a Stella Morgan dress. I have 2. I'm 5ft 9 and these dresses can trail along the floor if I wear flats. The bust area is usually padded too so you don't need to wear a bra. If you are tall and not a big cup size these dresses are fab.

I fit the tall and not a big cup isze but unfortunately the latgest is a size 16 and I'm more of an 18. They look lovely. I thought of getting some for DD2, then remembered she's only just over 5 foot. DD1 has a sort of school prom soon so they could be great for her and then she could use them on holiday. She's busy revising at the moment so I'll get her to take a look when she appears again. She's about 5'8" and a size 12 so should be ok

Useful to know - I looked at the model and saw that the dresses came up high, so I thought the length wasn't actually quite maxi.

I know they won't be as good quality but I've seen almost identical dresses to these at the local market for £6.99.
I was actually quite impressed with them for the money, and they didn't seem too long either, might be worth a trip to your local one.

Got 2 of these dresses in the sale a couple of weeks ago. One was £5 and another £10. I am 5ft 7 and they touch the floor when I wear flats. So have taken them up an inch. Really lovely dresses.

I ordered 2 of these online on Friday evening and they text me to say they were in store on Saturday afternoon. I picked them up today and tried them on and yes they are long and in my opinion can't be worn with flats.
I bought the red/black strapless and black/white strapped one.
The red/black dress is just salvage edged on the hem so if it is too long you can just cut to size, and maybe make a pair of straps from the offcuts.
These dresses look fantastic on and are really flattering,....... not that I need flattering 'cos I'm a Goddess:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
