Pestered by loan companies

Must have been the glass of red wine but I went into what I thought was the Barclay bank web-site and filled out their loan application out and submitted it. Since then I have been bombarded with phone calla and texts from a variety of companies i.e. Express finance, fast phone loans, Amigo and companies that want to consolidate all my debts. These are companies that I would not touch with a barge poll. I only have one debt and my finaces are in control. I have replied to the text messages with the word 'STOP'. Is there anything else I can to to stop them. Has anyone else had a bad experience with these type of finance companies.

Thank you. Lesson number 1 is now etched on my brain. However, you have now got me thinking what lesson number 2 could be

Thank you forgotmyname. You must think I'm a right drip but I've never had to swim in these shark infested waters so not as Savvy as you.

Thank you Apples2. As I said to' forgotmyname' I'm not very savvy dealing with these low life but I'm learning quickly.
