Overdraft Help

Hi Everyone,

I would just like some advice really... I started a new job last week (happy days!) and my last employer took a LOT of money out of my final pay as I took more holiday than I accrued....

I am currently at £400 in my agreed overdraft and I will probably need to increase this limit to live!

Once I have been paid at the end of this month, what would be the best way to pay all this off? I dont want to get in to using any credit cards or anything. Is it best to just try not to spend a lot after I have been paid or like put £50 a month away in a savings account and then add it to my current account when it builds up to about £200?

If you're into your overdraft you're going to have to spend the absolute bare minimum next month, maybe longer, to clear your overdraft as quickly as possible. I don't understand your comment about putting money into a savings account. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever to put anything into savings while you're paying overdraft charges at a much higher interest-rate.
