cabot restriction order now threat of A of E

my ex had a restriction order frm cabot (2009) on the home we owned together. He hasnt lived here or contributed since 2004.There was no instalments agreed when ccj was taken out or when restriction was granted and ex hasnt paid a penny towards the debt.
He has now told me that cabot are sending him letters asking why he hasnt paid or made arrangemets to pay and if he doesnt they will get an attachment of earnings order. This will affect me as he says he will have to cut my maintenance for children down drastically.

Can they do this ? Now also worried they may push for sale. I live here with 3 children (one autistic) and dont have the money to move etc.

Have a look at the National Debtline site for an explanation of attachment of earnings. The court will take into account his ability to pay and one of the things listed on the court form is maintenance.

I don't have any direct knowledge of this process but hope this helps.
