Milton Keynes is fairly central with good road and rail links.

Went to Peterborough once - it was shut!

I've heard the traffic lights are always on red to make people stop there.

    You naughty boy Sooty,

Is it all those good road and rail links that make Milton Keynes the "swinging capital" of England.

Trying to corrupt us simple northerners,

"Trying to corrupt us simple northerners"

Not trying to corrupt you at all (as if I could). I suggested my home town of Nottingham (England's Disneyland) as a possible venue and another southerly alternative so you northerners could experience the joys of electric lights and carpets. :)

I'm quite happy to travel 'oop north'. I've heard the pies are really good and you can introduce me to the joys of pigeon racing. Should I bring a whippet or can you hire them locally?

Come on guys... any more choices ?

Birmingham isnt that northern... Thought it would be quite central to all really with very good train links ?

    Morning all.

it seems to me this is just going to carry on forever going round in circles trying to find a destination,so i think as Mike is MD then he should make the choice (sorry Mike) .

The democratic vote has been tried .

People who really want to meet up will travel .

sorry if it sounds a tad harsh but we could just go on forever at this rate

    Hi gis,

I don't think it sounds harsh, Peterborough is coming up as clear favourite but I don't really mind where we meet.

I agree... As the 'Boss' We should make the decision. Ill let today run its course and close the vote at midnigt... If im not drunk (again) by then !

Peterborough sounds favorate though. Ill start another mini thread seeing what we sould do... and ask what dates w are all NOT availiblem, so we can see if we can geta middle ground on dates and all that.

How are we all this morning anyhows... Im simply sat in waiting for the Oven man to come and fix my Oven.......
