I loaned a 'friend' £1500 about 20 months ago, she payed some back in small amounts and still owes me £1000
needless to say, i havnt heard from her for months, how do i go about getting my money back? can i take her to court for it?

Have you got any proof you loaned her the money and the agreed repayments?
You almost certainly won't see anymore of this money back, lending to family and friends tends to be a bad idea.0 -
i have facebook messages from her admitting she owes me the money0

you will probably have to take her to a small claims court then0

You will never get this money back, so unless you want constant hassle worrying about it I'd write it off to experience and let 'friends' sort their finances out for themselves in future.0
