    I've been Money Tipped!
could combine with the £1 off veg/fruit which came with the Co-Op dividend cheque!
  • One point does not neccessarily equal one pence though, last year it was 2.4p IIRC. I've just tried to find out this year's value but couldn't find it!

(Cooperative membership website says this:Each year we work out the value of a point. The value is linked to the financial performance of The Co-operative Group. At the end of each trading period we will calculate the points you have earned. These will be converted into a cash value based on how much a point is worth. )
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

Bear in mind that co-operative bonus points are always worth 1p each, not a proportionate share of the profits in the business.

    http://www.co-operative.coop/terms/membershiptermsandconditions/#bonus

Also, with the exception of co-op bank accounts, your dividend and bonus points are all tax-free.

    http://www.co-operative.coop/terms/membershiptermsandconditions/#5_3

Share of profits from bank accounts are taxed at source at 20%, so you only have to make a payment or reclaim with HMRC if you are not a basic-rate taxpayer.

    Share and Enjoy!

  • We regularly book travel through the co-op but have just received a letter stating that as they did not make a profit we will not receive any dividend. Coincidentally their terms and conditions web page is not available. Can they do this?
