More stress - can someone please help??

Me again - sorry!!
I went BR on 28/5 and have my new CO-OP account up and running. Despite my ex husband being told my new bank details he still paid my maintenance to my old account this morning, subsequently someone has taken a payment off the card leaving the account with a small credit.
Ive called my old bank who said theres nothing they can do but they have cancelled the card (The OR told me they were writing to the bank to close this account) In the meantime I now have no maintenance for the children, small amount stuck in an account I am not supposed to use and a creditor who has received a payment after BR!!
I have emailed my OR but will this amount come back or will it be lost forever? What about the credit now in the account?
