Credit File dates

Hi, I was declared bankrupt in 2008 and discharged a year later. I was just having a look at my accounts on Noddle, better late than never! I've sorted out a lot of it previously but on some of the closed accounts I think they have the default date correct but not the "account end date". Should that date be the same as the default date? The account end date matches the status history. For example my Egg card has "account end date" as 31.3.2011 and that date in the status history has a red circle with a "D" in it and PS under it, up until that date the previous months have a "D" under them. Sorry for the long winded post I hope it makes sense to someone. Many thanks.

The settlement date (PS in this case) should be your discharge date from the bankruptcy.
Saying that, it's not a huge deal if it's wrong.
The important thing is the default date, as that controls how long it stays on your file. It is 6 years from that.
As long as that is on or before your BR date, then entries will come off when they should.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
