Cant find details of ccj anywhere - please help?

Hello everyone Im hoping you guys can help me. A little while ago I moved house but while applying for it the letting agency said i had a ccj registered against me that I didnt know about. I was unemployed, but recently have found a job and want to get it sorted now.

I have checked my credit files with experian and the other one (I forget whats its called now) with nothing listed and searched my 2 last addresses on trust online but im coming up with a blank. I didnt ask for the details at the time cos I was so surprised and scared and now they dont have them. So what now? Is it possible I did have one logged against me but now its been over 6 years so its not showing up?

I just dont get why I cant find it, and I cant afford to keep searching trust online at 4 quid a pop.. I would really appreciate your advice, thankyou

If you gave Experian and Equifax(?) your address history then any ccj registered in the past 6 years should have shown up. There's not much point continuing to interrogate Registry Trust.

Short of contacting likely creditors and asking 'Did you get a ccj against me?', there's nothing further you can do.

If it did exist, it won't now affect any application that involves a credit check and, if your credit file searches don't bring any creditor out of the woodwork, then you can happily get on with your life and forget this episode.
