    another thing that we were thinking of is that OH could make himself bankrupt, any advice on this one please, or any links to threads about this would be appreciated so that we can make an informed decision

    Um not sure I can really help here except offer support.

    If RBS say they don't have any paperwork re the extra loans surely that could be defended? It may be worth calling the Citizens advice bureau tomorrow and gettig an appointment with them, they may be able to help.

    Hi Hippychick
    Thats what we re thinking that because they don't have any paperwork, not even for the original loan, how can they even prove he had any loan? Of course he did have the loan and we re happy to pay that back but the amount of interest and insurance we feel is extortionate.

    Thanks for the post, any other advice will of course be gratefully received from anyone because we don't really have a clue what we re doing next!
