You could also try looking at Preloved - you can get some brilliant bargains there.
Regarding the men - do they really need to be in suits?
We looked at hiring suits and the cost was ridiculous. It was cheaper to buy the men smart trousers, wing collar shirts and waistcoats/ties from BHS on one of their 25-30% off weekends - I think it worked out about £60 per adult.
It all depends on the vision you have for your wedding day - ours is relaxed and relatively informal so this is ideal for us.
