Hi, I'ts my daughter's eighth birthday soon and we are having a small party at home. We wanted to have a 'making a bracelet' activity, I was wondering if any of you crafty types could advise what type would be simplest/ prettiest for 6 x 8 year olds? Or recommend any kits?
Thank you
Thank you

hi, i would suggest maybe just some stretch bracelets. very simple to do just threading beads onto jewellery elastic and tying a knot to secure it :j
You can obviously get many different types of beads which would make them all different.
I wouldn't look at kits personally - i think they tend to be overpriced. Depending on how many you need to make, 1 reel of elastic costing a few pounds and the necessary beads should be all you need.

You could try "Pony Beads"

Simply thread them onto clear elastic

The holes are quite large, so should be easy to thread.
You may need to adhere the knot with a tiny blob of superglue or clear nail polish.Slimming world new starter 2/1/17

If you get a couple of packs of "transparent glitter" Hama beades (ToysAreUs do them, among other places) those will thread beautifully, and are pretty and cheap
