This is my first post, so be gentle with me. I've done a quick search and can't see this elsewhere but apologies if I'm repeating something.

All O2 mobile phone users can make and receive calls for 35p a minute in most of Europe by opting in to MYEurope, a free bolt on, by dialling 2266 from their mobile. Previously, you got a reduction by buying a bolt on and the prices weren't as good as these. In fact, i was on the phone to O2 customer services yesterday and the guy I spoke to told me the price was 69p/min as the CS team do not appear to have been told of the latest price reduction on the website. You get a text back from O2 within a few days confirming the 35p prices. This is for pay monthly and PAYG customers.

is there still a connection fee if someone rings me when im in spain though?or just 35 p per min?

Yes, 35p to make a call while abroad and 35p to receive a call while abroad.

I take it to be just the 35p a minute. There is a special rate available for Spain. See the O2 website for details (pay monthly only I think)
