How to use lovely lakeland cake tin

Options
I gave in and bought myself this lovely Lakeland cake tin:
http://www.lakeland.co.uk/16043/Lakeland-Fancy-Deep-Cake-Tin which makes a cake that's sort of 'patterned' on the inside. I can't get on with the Lakeland 'non stick' stuff they sell for spraying on your cake tins, so do I grease it, or grease and flour it, or what so as to get the cake out nicely? Have never understood when you just grease, when you line or when you grease and flour a tin on the inside. HELP please !

    Hi,

I have a similar tin and I grease it and then lightly flour it, shaking out the excess.

    p.s. lovely tin!

I too would grease and flour. If you're making a chocolate cake, you can use cocoa powder instead of flour to avoid white marks.
