Hi , good you possibly give me their full name and address if you have one. will look them up for you. Could you elaborate on this a bit more, have they contacted you either in writing or by phone. Please do not ring them back. Only deal with them in writing if you have to. what is the debt for and how old is it. Do you know if they have bought the debt or collecting it for someone else. Sorry just need some more info then we can take it from there.Night Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi Lonely
I have been dealing with RMA in respect of my American Express account. I offered £15 per month against a debt of £4,800 which they were happy to accept.
Others may have different opinions but I found them polite and easy to deal with.Money won't buy you happiness
But at least you can be miserable in comfort

Please dont get me wrong. Not all DCAs are the same. Like anything there are good and bad. And its always nice to hear about the good ones. Thankyou. Puts peoples minds at rest. I also have dealt with reasonable ones but also some really really frightening ones.Night Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

I was contacted by RMA for a 'debt' originally due to Carphone Warehouse. When I refused to acknowledge any debt to RMA the extremely pushy woman told me 'not to get clever' with her. I refused to deal with them, and on checking the account was £63.00 in CREDIT - No apologies.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
