help! re old mortgage

does my bank (barclays) have to give me details of an old mortgage i had with them? i took it out with them around 2004 and then paid it off 2006 or 2007 when i sold up and moved. unfortunately i have lost all paperwork and details in order to claim ppi

If you pay the £10 DSAR fee and they still hold data then they should provide that data. If the data has been destroyed then they cant supply it.
What are you hoping to achieve from asking the details? With mortgages, there is typically very little held beyond the application form and PPI does not form part of any mortgage agreement.
