Out of date/old credit notes

Hi,

I've just discovered a (substantial stash of old credit notes dating back to '08 for a good clothing company

Frustratingly the shop assistant has advised they're old valid for 2 .

Has anyone any experience of challenging this or any tips to build a case to have them accepted ?

If its specified in the terms and conditions then the chances are pretty slim.

If its a small amount you could try the customer services of the store to ask if they can help, bear in mind whatever they do will be as a good will guesture rather then anything your entitled to, begging may be required!

Is it written on the credit note itself that it's only valid for 2 years?
