Hi everyone,
I'm currently having problems with getting faults removed from my credit report that are totally incorrect. I've contacted the guilty parties, Vodafone and Santander, via their customer services several times and been fobbed off or sent in circles. Anyone know where i stand legally with this and/or a quick and easy way of getting them removed?
Also any tips to quickly improve a credit score?
Thanks in advance.

What are the faults?
Sorry but difficult to comment without more info - is the information factually incorrect?
If so, then they should remove it once it's pointed out.
Meantime, you could add a Notice of Correction to your file to say that the entry is in dispute & currently being looked into (someone will come along with better wording)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000

one is for a mobile phone that was sent back within 14 days and vodafone lost, blamed me and tried to charge me for. Cleared it up at the time but they placed a 'non payment for 2 months' fault on my file. Very definately not my fault.
the santander problem is i have 3 accounts listed on my file (2 of which have 'non payment for 2 months' faults and i've only had 1 account with them so i suspect an error or duplication but possibly my fault.0 -
Send each company a formal complaint stating what you expect hem to do to rectify the situation. Include compensation if you feel appropriate. Send signed for. They can't easily fob you off and if they do you can take to the relevant ombudsman.:beer:0
