Got £11.05 grocery savings and £30 birthday money, which I'm adding because its going towards buying myself a laptop. Not checked but think that may take me to target, hope so, its been a struggle this month.

Really struggling this month due to lots of OU work. I hope the Natwest problems, etc haven't set anyone back too far - thanks for all the ideas and support on here, I really appreciate it and it really helps, even when I haven't got time to post and say thanks :)

For anyone affected - Natwest have sent an email today about extra things they are doing, such as temporary overdrafts etc etc all with fees waived or refunded. I usually automatically delete email from banks as I don't generally get important emails from them so they are usually spam, so worth keeping your eyes peeled.
Really pleased with Ebay, will have a nice boost to add tomorrow when everything is posted :D
Glad to have a week like this as really motivates me with listing etc as it doesn't all feel like it's for nothing and put me off, like the weeks where nothing sells.
Persevere guys, it really can be worth it. :)

@all; Thank you for the suggestions about the bed : ) I will give it a go.

The natwest thing is driving a friend of mine up the wall, she is having massive cash flow problems at the moment.
  • Morning All:D

I wrote a lengthy messege about my problems with Natwest and then lost it:o

Long story short, instead of closing my loan account they mistakenly closed my everyday current account, that all DDs payments and wages get paid in / out of. i couldnt access my cash, my card was cancelled.
They moved my available cash into an old account i had no card for. went into the bank explained i couldnt access it has i had no card for that account and asked them to move everything over to anotther current account instead, which they did or so i thought! yesterday DDs started coming out of the savings account taking my overdrawn but with no overdaft....they had moved the cash over but not the DD:mad:

Im not sure where i am with everything banking related ATM.
ive had to visit the branch 5 yes 5 times in the last 2 weeks to follow up problems caused by them closing the wrong account, and guess what....They still haven't got round to closing the loan account!! Pfffft ( insert sweary words! )

Hope everyone else is well though :D ive not been around much to catch up with how everyones doing.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Thanks for a warm welcome back everyone!

Ok. So i'm gonna get back into this for July. I'm going away in 6 weeks time so need ever penny i can get. I haven't paid for the hoilday, my parents have paid for it. There are 7 of us going (parents, brother ect) and we are all staying in a cottage for a week so need to have a little bit of money with me so i can treat my son. (The girls will be away with their birth mother that week). So i'm really gonna put myself and actually put any money i make in a pot.

Its cash sales i'm gonna need so i guess i'll mainly be ebaying. Gonna start by with my usual 5 items a day so i can give myself some early sales in July. Wish me luck everyone!

Oh.... and if the July thread has started yet could someone kindly point me in the correct direction?? Many thanks!!

Hi all, £2.90 from TCB, £48.70 from MS and £60 from overtime at work (less than I was expecting). A few of my ebay bits have sold too but only expecting about £25 in from that once I've totted it up. Getting there I guess!

Hello CP good to see you back! Hope your holiday is fab.

Sorry about your Natwest probs Moneyspider. I have a current a/c with them, but only 1 DD and 1 deposit goes into that one.. Haven't even checked it TBH!!

    Hi to everyone else.

£4 PC added to this month's total. Had a few MS visits, but they have been a bit of a nause. Visited 1 location, on agreed day at agreed time, to find it shut. Then one scheduled for today is postponed!!

    Have a good one folks.
