I got a nice brightly coloured washing up brush showing as 79p and 50% off but scanned through at just 19p!

I'm going to try another local store today to see if they have any Bodum things.
  • I managed to get some new cushions for £4.99 from £9.99 and a lovely new mirror in the living room for £19.99!

I bought a lovely duvet cover in the sale today £30 down to £15. Only problem is they didn't have the matching pillowcases and can't see them online, I don't have another store within 30 miles either so will have to return to store.

I think it's daft the way you have to purchase the pillow cases separate. If they were included with the duvet cover then they'd be able to sell alot more of the discountinued bedding.

Hi, I searched the internet and eBay after I posted here but couldn't see anywhere that has the item available.

I believe it is dunelm brand. It is this duvet but in purple (heather eternity) http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/gold-eternity-collection-duvet-cover-167573

Have you tried asking instore to see if they can order the pillowcases for you or have them sent from another store? It might be worth giving CS a call too.

I did ask before I purchased the duvet cover and was told it's a discontinued line and there would be a long wait ('as it gets sent all over') if it was ordered or sent from another store. They didn't seem to want to order them in so I just purchased the duvet and tried online. I will be returning it today so hopefully find another one as most, if not all had 20% off.

That's a good idea - I would never of thought of that but I don't like it that much, it's lovely for the price though. I have exchanged it for a different one and managed to get the matching pillowcases. I've stepped away from lilac now and went for a different colour so now have to buy new curtains - not very money saving :)
