Credit report question! (AP, equifax credit score etc)

Hi, i'm new to the forum, just wondered if anyone could give any advice or experience, would really appreciate it!
I'm looking to get a mortgage soon. I've just done a credit report and check with Equifax.
my credit score was 420, which is in the middle of the 'Good' zone, so im quite happy with that...
But I'm worried as the report shows a grey AP on a creditcard from jan 2010
(i think this was when I had a credit card that i forgot i owed money on, and missed 3 or 4 payments in a row as the statements got sent to my parents address!!!)
This was paid off long ago though, and no 'arrangement to pay' or letters were sent at the time, I just paid it off normally.
could this damage my chance of getting a mortgage?
Did my 'good' credit score of 420 take this into account?
Should i be worried, or is there anything i can do?
thanks for any advice!!

Sorry to say this, but that looks pretty bad. It is a low credit limit as well, which suggests that you had trouble raising a small minimum payment (or decided to avoid paying).
Unless you have a high income (compared to loan amount) and a low ltv this is likely to cause problems for any of the big lenders.
If you do not believe that the report is correct you can attempt to get it amended (I am not sure how you do this).0 -
I can't see the link but AP/AR is 'arrangement' and fire of many warning bells with any lender - all depends on rest of file.
Provide the report to an independent/whole of market broker and he/she will go through it with you and know if an aplication is worthwhile (depdns on many more factors - income, LTV etc).
One thing is definite - you need to carefully select the lender.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Thanks for the replies
That's not good news
I was kind of hoping it wasn't as bad as I'd thought, as my credit score was still in the 'good' range.
I have quite a decent deposit, so hopefully that'll help a bit?0
