Not sure if misprice or just a bargain, but McVities mini cheddars packs of 7 Variety flavours & crinkle mini chedders packs of 7 are 94p where as the packs of 12 where £2somethink. Hth someone

I noticed this on Sunday. Strange as last week they were on offer for £1!
  • So, went into Tesco tonight and saw the Cathedral cheese. Checked some for the correct barcode listed above and found a couple. Was using the hand held self-scanner and both scanned at £1 each. Great!

But, then went to the till and loaded the scanner through it. My total shop was £21 - including 2 x £6.55 for the cheese! I told the assistant that they were scanning originally at a £1 but not on the till, so she went off to check with the manager. Low and behold she comes back and says the manager has said the price of a £1 is incorrect. So I didn't buy them.

Not sure if they would have scanned through the normal tills at £1, but definitely not when using the self-scanners. I guess Tesco have completely caught on!

DTD on Terry's Chocolate Orange :)
£2.85 BOGOF offer has ended. Now price drop of £2. My store had them in three different locations, one lot stacked up at an end of aisle and some on the bottom shelf both with OOD SEL:D and some on another aisle with correct price.

DTD given twice :D:p:o:j though I had a bit of a trouting on the second (SA recognized me:eek::o)

plus £1.50 in Sada too :) so should get a nice voucher back:cool:
  • also these marked as 2 for £4 going through at full price.

Just a couple Cillit Bang Power Cleaner Degreaser (750ml) SEL £3 scanning £3.50 DTD £1 back and Pork Loin Joint SEL £4.99 a kg the packet as £8.99 a kg, so DTD free. HTH
  • I bought some Disney dvd's today and they went through full price rather than BOGOF. CS insisted there was no dtd anymore even though I pointed it out on the sign behind him and just gave me the difference back. He said dtd has always been at Tesco discretion and now they have stopped giving dtd for the past month! I said in that case why is the sign still up and he said he will pass that on! Quite happy to give me his name (first name only though) so I can query with Heas Office.

That is a complete load of rubbish as I got DTD on the same deal a couple of days ago. They did try and give me JTD but after pointing out their own policies they gave me DTD but did warn me that they don't give DTD if you go through self service tills. Again I think they were just trying it on but you never know. I'd get in touch with head office as you should get at least a voucher

I got the same dtd deal on monday i bought 4 blurays and was given dtd back no probs. My wife bought 4 dvds from the same store later in the day the lady at the counter had no probs giving dtd until the store manager came across to verify the cashback amount and he had a right go at the assistant and told her not to give anymore dtd on the dvds or blurays but the 2 assistants stood their ground and told him he could not do this and gave my wife £60 cashback and the 4 dvds free. I hope this is not the end of dtd.
