I think all the savvy shoppers are at Asda at the moment, normal service will be resumed when that dies down, lol.
  • Could it be that people are posting their finds less because often there are those that go abusing the finds and bragging about their hoards and monetary gains until the supermarkets change the rules and then spoil it for those that have been less greedy?
A few weeks ago I remember someone posting how they had got over 50 quid back from asda and the manager of the store had congratulated them when they went to use it. Very soon after asda put a limit on the vouchers.

It could be that my scanners aren't working in store and it angers me so much I don't shop at tescos at the moment.

Since r&r finished there hasn't been much of a drive to find misprices tbh, its only worthwhile if its double or almost a double price overcharge and they are rare.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Because of the chat, some misprice spotters started a new thread which got moved to Gone - most of the newere Tescoites join on there.

It moves far too fast for me and there are too many abusers for my liking that I never bother to post any of my misprices on MSE anymore.
Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
  • My local Tesco have lots of pizza express pizzas in a fridge that says half price...but Margaritas are still full price (apparently not in the offer)...not what the fridge said...so bought, dtd back (and of course an argument with customer services) and free pizza!

A DTD is Double the Difference. If you get overcharged at Tesco and go to customer services with your receipt they have a policy that means they will give you double the difference e.g.

I paid £9.98 for my pinata. It was on offer for 4.99. I got double the difference back so £4.99 x 2 = £9.98. I got this back from customer services so it was free.

There are lots of threads on DTD so pop it into the forum search engine and you'll find more info about it.
