  • Tesco Finest Meal - discount didn't kick tonight. I bought:
    Wine-Finest White Fiano Scilia (6.99)
    Classic Chicken Kiev (5.50)
    Rosemary Roasted Potatoes (2.50)
Clotted cream & toffee sauce sponge pudding (3.00)

Customer service didn't bat an eye and returned £15.98 to me

I hope this helps someone else, I've never been lucky enough to find these deals :)

I haven't been on here for a while so I hope this isnt too late and posted in the right place. Yesterday evening my local t's had a load of bottled ale on offer @ 4 for £5. I bought 4 but they checked out at full price of £8.16. Took them to cs and after a bit of a wait received DTD, so 4 nice ales for £1.84. I've since had a look and there seems to be 2 seperate offers, the 1st is 4 for £5 on selected beers and cider, the 2nd 4 for £5 on selected ales. I'm pretty sure it was the mix of these offers that prevented the offer kicking in. Hth

i was behind a women who got over charged and she was given a 2 pound gift voucher doe sanyone know if this is compulsory to asda if they over charge you.

that could've been me. i was given £2 voucher for an overcharge & understood it to be their policy to do so.

Booter quoted "Our policy when you have been overcharged on an item, we will refund the difference and also offer a £2 gift card for your inconvenience. Once you have paid for your shopping and your transaction has gone through if you noticed you have been overcharged you are able to get a refund of the difference plus a £2 gift card for each different item you have been overcharged" in a post in Novermber 2011

    Hi been in.
The potatoes are not part of the deal in my store, not shown on the cards and none in the deal area.
Think your store has put or left them in wrong place.

    Not at all.

    Badger Poachers Choice
    Badger Golden Champion x 2
    McEwans Champion Ale

I'm pretty sure the poachers choice ale was the one that stopped the deal working at the checkout. it was a little more expensive, £2.19 as opposed to £1.99, and is listed as simply 'Ale' on my receipt whilst the others are named.

The potatoes are listed as being as part of the offer in EXTRA stores only, went to a few today and noticed they weren't listed in normal stores. Yes, it's the potatoes making it DTD so you can buy any other items but must have these.

Got 4 yummy meals, thanks OP!

I'd say it's definitely the Poachers Choice. I just tried to repeat your shop and couldn't find the Poachers Choice anywhere amongst the other Badger Ales, so I picked a Fursty Ferret as well as x2 Golden Champion and the McEwans Champion Ale - and the deal went through as 4 for £5.
