My credit report, should I be worried?

I just received a credit check from Equifax as i am about to buy my first property in June.
Everything looks fine apart from back in September 2000 I had a loan paid by direct debit for my car insurance. On my credit report it says that for the first month of the loan I was 1 month in arrears. For the next 12 months the loan was paid on time and the debt was settled in September 2001. I cannot remember being in arrears ever over any loan. I am also suprised as I was paying by direct debit and I always have money in the bank, so I cannot understand how I was in arrears after the first month. I certainly was not aware of this at the time, as i did not get any letters sent about this.
I am inclined to think that this is either a mistake by Equifax, or that the bank didn't process my direct debit in time, causing me to go into arrears without my knowledge.
How will this affect my credit rating, when everything else on the report is fine, and should i bother trying to get it removed?
Thanks

I wouldnt worry about this - only one missed payment, then followed by 12 payments on time; that one missed payment is not going to worry any lender."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Also, I wouldn't have thought it would matter much as it was 7 years ago and if your history's been clear since then I wouldn't worry too much!!:xmastree: :snow_laug Christmas Nutter :snow_laug:xmastree:0
