Student loans and moving

Hi

I've got an old student loan with the student loans company, which I've been paying back for a couple of years now but still has a few thousand pounds outstanding.
I've recently been offered a job abroad, which I'd like to take - does anyone know how that would affect my repayments? I'd be taking a significant paycut to take the job.

Thanks for any help

You have to contact the SLC and tell them the situation. If you arent going to be paid and taxed using PAYE, then you'll have to tell them what your wages will be, and they'll tell you what your new repayment amount is.
