Double Tesco Vouchers for clothing

Thanks to recycling lots of ink cartridges I rceived £10 of Tesco vouchers last week :T Its the first time I have had enough to be able to double them up so I took them to Tesco at the weekend and asked them to convert them to double the value vouchers for clothing.
I had no intention of using them at the time as was only popping in for a few bits on the way to the beach and it was only when I got in the car that I realised they expire in three weeks..
I would have waited if I had known, I don't live near a Tesco store that sells clothes so am not sure I will get to a bigger store before they expire. What happens if they do expire? Can I get them reactivated or would I lose their value for good?
Thanks
Sarah

I believe they get put back on your club card, so if you doubled up a £5 voucher to £10 you will get £5 put back on your card0

Oh that would be good, thanks. I will try to use them but would hate to lose them if I can't!0

I always thought they were lost if not spent, so I would check on the Tesco site rather than assume you will just get the points back.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Currently, ther are no plans to credit unused exchange vouchers, as per the T & Cs. You have chosen to convert your vouchers into a product range of Exchange Vouchers, in-line with the previous such promotions - thse exchane vouchers have a limited life - final date is the 19th June.
Clothing I would think is a relatively easy category - anything from suits to socks, or from shoes to shirts!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
Yes I won't have trouble spending them or deciding what to buy, its just getting to a store thats sells clothing in the first place.
My local store just sells the very basics so if I get deperate I suppose I could just but anything, keep my receipt, then exchange it at a later date.

Would ordering through Tesco Clothing be an option or do you need to try stuff on before you buy?Dave. :wave:0

Thanks, that's a good idea. I might do that if I can't get into a big store!0
