It's on, but I'm neither watching, nor listening..... I can't read/type/think and listen to the telly and watch it.0

Sorry everyone, was watching properly.
smelting rings were ace. bond and the QUEEN. THE REAL QUEEN.
Obviously Rowan Atkinson's Chariots of Fire was good.
NHS beds and nurses also very impressive. Really really impressed with Danny Boyle, done with class.
The athlete bit needs speeding up0 -
Just spoke again to DH. He said that watching it from the stadium, the best bit was the rings and watching it being "smelted" then raised into the air. Plus this far into the ceremony and they still can't tell where the cauldron is or how it will be lit. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I am not sure whether the petals are part of the cauldron - you could well be right there - but I think Becks will bring the torch into the stadium, not light the cauldron. There will probably be a handover between several people within the stadium before the lighting. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I think those that are filming themselves on their cameras look a mess. The athletes' walks used to be much more orderly.... they used to march round smartly... not shuffle round like a gaggle, shouting and filming.0
