    Hi Willow,

I have found this site due to their awesome prices - and emailed to ask for a business phone number and address but as yet have received no reply.. The site stats sites say the domain is only 19 days old so it could be that this is just a very new site, hopefully more people will comment with more info

I'm really hoping it is genuine, as I want to buy some of their cut-price electronics!

Still no reply from their online contact form and no more stats info online... Hmmmmm
  • From their site:
Our company does not engage in the selling of tangible products and the information presented in this site should only be used for educational purposes.
Says it all really- too good to be true, yes.

Thanks for this-they are selling the pram I want for about £60 less than anywhere else...but I thought it sounded too good to be true!

For once, it is not a Chinese scam site:
    person: Hang Nguyen
address: Duong 8B Pho 4 Bin An, Quan 2
    address: Saigon, Vietnam
    phone: +84 906482860

It's a Vietnamese scam site :rotfl:

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.
  • A classic example of 'if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is'. Even without the technical research, this one smells. They seem to be able to quote for just about anything - I suspect it does something like using Kelkoo or somesuch to establish the current lowest price, then cuts xyz% from that and presents it as their price.

Their 'Contact Us' page is only an e-mail entry form.

Their 'About Us' only boasts how clever they are - no address or anything useful.

Their Shipping Details only talk of all goods being shipped from the USA (including electrical goods with a UK plug for 240v - I doubt it!)

This one's got SCAM written all over it.:(:(
  • I just registered to see what would happen and their activation email was this:

    Hello,

we are very sorry to inform you that we can not accept any orders at this time.
We have a lot of technical difficulties with this online shop system, among other things
the store shows wrong prices and the connection to our payment gateways is broken.

We have hired a new developer who is hopefully able to fix these issues over the next few weeks.

    Please accept our sincerest apologies.

    With the best regards,

    Your "Buy Smarter Store" Team.

PS: Please do not answer to this address, this is an automated email.

    So dodgy...
  • The purpose of this website seems to be harvesting email / login information. Most people have common email/password combination as their login across different websites. They're targeting just that !

247 Happy Shopping looks like it's the same sort of site/scam.
