Young poll - NOT HAPPY

Hi my duaghter joined young poll a year ago , she was getting surveys and got to £12 , she needed to get to £20 for a payout. Then they stopped sending her surveys.... she has checked for nearly a year and nothing. I have wrote to them but get no answer, what more can I do ?

She is really upset about it, as its her first earning experiance.

Seems disgusting they can treat kids this way.

any help please.
Kindness costs nothing :)

  • Hi Mirry. I came across your post here in Google and although it's been a few months I was worried you might still not of got it solved as no-one had replied. So I quickly signed up just to answer you!

My sister Joined Youngpoll...um maybe 3 or so years ago now. She got regular surveys until maybe a year or so later they dropped dramatically in occurrence until they stopped completely. We rung them up once and they said something along the lines of "we're just stopping them gradually".. So why do they still let people sign up? Along with all the other questions they need to answer. But to your problem, Yes I was very disappointed, my sister had joined this website and took time to work on it and I'm sure was looking forward to £20 and why shouldn't she, she had worked for it and they had got important marketing information from her. To stop surveys when you need a certain amount to redem and thus to make the money yours is bordering on a scam in my opinion but this is where the strange bit comes in. Their parent site Onepoll is good. I have received 1 or 2 £40 payments from them and almost all my family are joined as well and have received money, although they do go through phases of stopping surveys....whenever I get halfway to redeeming I noticed then suddenly they start back up again, but regardless they are much better than Young poll which they seem to be neglecting which is a shame, it was a good idea and it's wrong for them to not even contact children by email about it. But we did get success the second time. I'm sorry your letter got no response, that is unacceptable. But We managed to get her money ringing a second time. I'm sorry I can't remember what numbers we rung but I am pretty sure it was one on the youngpoll website. We said how wrong it was and so on and strangely they agreed! The lady said they would send a cheque in our mums name of the money she had. She had about £17 which is great of course but after all the hassle and time wasting as good will you'd think they could round it up to £20 :P So anyway, cheque received fine and she is happy although not bothering with young poll as you can imagine. So my advise is to try ringing, otherwise perhaps try emailing but I really hope you get your money eventually! We did....eventually!

    Best wishes.

    Barry

I was told to email members@onepoll.com with a name and address that a cheque can be made payable to, as well as the amounts your children are owed along with their names for their verification process, and i recieved a cheque 4 days later.

I have also had the same problem sent them an email and got no reply so I was so happy when I found this post. I have 2 children with accounts so will check them to see how much they are owed and will email them again, so fingers crossed

My son got a cheque for the money he was owed when I emailed to complain. Young Poll are not doing kids surveys now.
Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.

Already had an e-mail confirming that my e-mail has been sent to accounts department who will send out a cheque.

Obviously this program has ended now but a simple polite e-mail is all that is needed to receive a cheque, great company and I am happy to continue using them for OnePoll who pay out a couple of times a year to me, with the £40 cashout redemption level.

Cheque received today, clearly they're not wanting to rip people off but they just need a prompt and a name/address to send the cheque too :)
