A complete rip-off. They take a large percentage of each payment you make to them as a fee and hand over a small percentage of that payment to each of your creditors. You will achieve better results by doing it yourself and using the help of a charity such as CCCS.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Firstly as HappyMJ says you are best going into a DMP with CCCS or Payplan, both offer a free service and all monies go towards paying your debt off.

However, my mate has been with Churchwood for a few years and they have always been helpful and he is now less than a year away from finishing his DMP. Yes they do charge, but he's experience of them in general has been good.

For instance when creditors would write to him in the early months of his DMP, he would simply pass the details to Churchwood who would deal with them for him. But I'm sure CCCS and Payplan would do the same and as has been said for free.

i was with churchwood for about 6 -7 months. and i would say dont touch them with a 10 foot bargepole with sh*t on the end of it. like happymj said, they take 10% as a fee for a start. they dont always get the interest frozen by the ones you owe, and they "lose" payments. it wasnt until after 5 months of being with them and paying them, that my first payment turned up at welcome.
i then left them, contacted all companies that had agreed to it, and basically said, you agreed it with them, will you agree to it with me paying direct? and they all said yes

MOMENTS why are you looking at dodgy loan companies. They are going to rip you off!!

If your own bank cant help you, it means you cannot afford a loan at this time.
