Getting there...

Options
Morning guys

Well another month and another £200 paid of my debt :T - we're getting there slowly but surely. I remember somone on here quoting something about eating elephants in small bits - so very true.

And I also managed to finish the month in credit (that's two months in a row!) - I can't believe the buzz I get from that - very sad! :rotfl:

It is amazing how much I am saving by being more organised re food shopping, making my own (and hubby's) lunches. Even hubby has said his bank account looks healthier!

Anyway it is my birthday at the end of June so I have managed to put a little bit aside for a nice meal with hubby.

Here's to the next month and being one step closer to being debt free!

Yay! I second that. This month I havent been able to pay anything extra off the debts because we have had to have some house repairs done and they cost a bit more than we had planned. BUT the main thing was that all this was done from our income, no credit at all and thats a big achievement for us.

After getting my hair cut today I will have £7.84 left in the bank and a few quid in my purse and that is so lovely, like you it gives me a massive buzz to end the month in the black.

We are going on holiday next month, visiting family for a long weekend then a few days camping. The whole weeks holiday including spending money is going to cost no more than £250 and even though we have saved up for it I do feel a tiny bit guilty. We never go anywhere - I couldnt even tell you the last time I was in a pub - so I know I shouldnt feel bad really but it does become a bit of an obsession trying to throw every spare penny at the debts.

As you say, roll on June!
