I am looking for suggestions for a powerful, blowy hairdryer. I want one which really blows and messes up my hair. I have found that you cant just go on the W measurement so just wondered what experience people have had and any recomendations.

I bought a 2000 watts one from a Focus No Frills shop (cheap DIY etc)- it was £6.99! Has 2 air concentrator nozzles and a really long lead. The best and most powerful hairdryer I have ever used. The make is Prolectrix. No I've never heard of it either!0

Use mousse and dry your hair upside down!0

I use a T3 tourmaline dryer which is expensive but worth it as I have very thick, long hair which normally needs 2 stylists to dry it in the salon. I find it really cuts down on drying time as it's so powerful and it doesn't damage my hair.0
