I'm going to call the council today to ask if I can get my new council tax bill changed to 12 months instead of 10 so we save some money every month.

I'm going to call the council today to ask if I can get my new council tax bill changed to 12 months instead of 10 so we save some money every month.

My local council agreed to let me pay in 12 instalments instead of 10, but said it was only a 'one off' and couldn't be done again. Meanies!

I have not got a lot planned today.

But I need to get Garreth weighed, so decided to pop down into town afterwards (walking) and I'm going to go to Aldi and pick up some jam. Then onto the council Offices to pay my Council Tax Arrears, then to pay my t.v. license, and buy gas and electric.

Have British Gas prices gone down because I'm not spending as much?

Most councils spread the council tax monthly payments over 10 not 12 months anyway, as they use the remaining two to chase up non payers.

I'm been reading the 31 fly lady how to deal with debts on here and nothing new there as I already do them!
