I know, especially when people are much quicker to post negative reports and appraisals and not positive ones.

I think it is fair to say L&C have mixed reviews, but they are fee free which I dare say will please OH no end given his perception of brokers.

I think it will just depend which advisor picks up your call and like any business there are good and bad ones..

They do not specialise in damaged credit applications, although as you would have found on Google; the ones who do come with weighty fees.

I would sit down with a local advisor - no one charges for an introductory meeting and establish the best way forward. Incidentally, what Simon said about PAML with Woolwich is accurate, although I think there are some system changes which make this harder for the branch and call centre to now know this quickly.

I called for a client last week to the specialist broker PAML line and it still took 10 minutes for their "Call Centre Staff" to ascertain the information.
