Yes it is, even in my little car!

A question for you lovely people: I have a diary on the DFW board, but I just talk to myself mostly - is there any point in keeping it? I feel a bit silly talking to myself all the time, clearly my life is not exciting :o
I agree that if it is helping you then carry on. I started mine years ago, forgot it for a long time then restarted againn this year. I think there are times when you need it to help focus the mind. Other times real life doeswn't allow time for it.

If it is any help I talk to myself on mine too :D

I have locked away my cards and told DS3 about my silly purchases so I have someone on side. Didn't dare tell DH. Not because he would be cross but because I am so embarassed:o

Thanks for all of the replies re: my diary. Think I will keep it, as it keeps me focused, even if I am talking to myself! :D

NSD 9 for me today please :)

  • Hi,

NSD #12 Today and not even half way through the month yet:j:j

More importantly not even half way through the money yet either :D

Looks like there'll be a bit of money left over at the end of the month (it wasn't so long ago that there was a LOT of month left over at the end of the money:p).

No plans to spend tomorrow but with the weekend coming up there's bound to be something I'll need.............

#8 for me today please.I'm halfway there now.

I've managed to 'catch' up with my budget now and am even 73 francs richer due to selling some dvds.

It's a sunny day here too!

Not a NSD for me, got lumped paying a prescription fee for OH, picked up a few bits in Sainsbobs (£3.50), bread in Tacto and had eyebrows done. Still feeling carp - not even made it to pole class tonight which is totally unlike me. Feeling very meh and sorry for myself but won't bore you with the details :(

NSD 8 for me today. It's been a pretty rough day, had my mum in tears down the phone again which isn't a nice thing to hear. Really fancied buying a bottle of wine tonight but I don't drink by myself, but I made coconut ice with the kids in class today so at least I have something ridiculously sugary in the house to cheer me up :o

(((hugs))) to anybody who needs one

  • rising from the ashes – good to see you, & right now I think the most important thing is that you enjoy Maisie time, the NSD’s will follow!!

Ohhhhh def enjoying Maisie time :D - she's finally crashed out on the sofa and tbh think I'll be heading off in a mo myself as totally shattered!

Off tomorrow :j so hoping for a bit of a lie in (ie after 6am would be nice for a change:rotfl:)
Rising - Just start again at #6, you can still reach your target - no problem to you. :A

I yabber to myself on mine a lot too:o - I get very obsessed with figures (I have OCD and when I get stressed this is one of the way it comes out:o) but it does seem to help me keep on track and I *think* I've been a bit better lately and trying to write about other things too!
