Can you get Interest Free Mortgages without an Endowment..? Yeah..I mean it !

Hi Everyone..

I am a 49 working girl but divorced and mostly... skint... :j

But I have savings of £9000 and pay £800 rent.

I was wondering whether I could buy a place with an Interest only mortgage....and NO endowment..? I am nor fussed about owning the property when i am dead and gone..!

So, the Mortgage guys can have it and any excess goes to my hoard of cats..

:T

Any advice...will be appreciated and well taken

  • Interest only is not the same as interest free!!!

This is very unlikely to happen in the current climate, thankfully reputable lenders will want to know how you intend to repay them.
