I fortunately have a lot of disposable income for debt repayments which certainly does help. I hadn't been managing my money too well, so I change in what I do with my money was all that was needed - the debt reduction is happening by itself

Well almost half way through July and my financial situation is looking really good

Still very motivated to keep going - actually looking forward to paying off my Vanquis credit card next month!

I also have 3 family birthdays next month, so have added these to my budget!

This has been the first month that I've actually budgeted for petrol, which is going well. I've created a little spreadsheet in Excel to help me keep track of everything coming in and out of my bank account, as well as how much cash I have at all times!

Going away to Norfolk this weekend for my cousins wedding so will be taking it very steady on the motorways to keep my petrol costs at a minimum! My smoking is also down to the lowest it's been in a few years, finding myself not even enjoying the cigarettes I do smoke which can only be a positive.

Once again I'd like to thank everyone for all the advice and tips - I've been browsing the forums almost every day and reading peoples posts, looking forward to the day when I'll be able to provide as sound advice as other users!
