What sort of jobs are you applying for? Without being rude a person with a masters in psychology isn't the most sought after right now..0

Are you matching your CV to each job?
I used to be a manager and when reading through all the CV's I used to get I didn't have time to read every CV in great detail but would rather skim them all and put them into three separate piles, No, read further and maybe. Then I would read through the CV's that I liked the best and usually interview out of them.
If a CV was very long or contained lots of information that was completely irrelevant to the position it would end up in the no pile or if lucky the maybe.
Match your CV's to each job and leave out information that has no benefit. For example if you were applying to work as a sales assistant in a clothing store there is no point using up half a page listing all your computer skills as they wouldn't be used in the job.
And I agree leave off your age, there is no benefit to having this on your CV.0
