Elemis skincare worth the money?

I have really combination skin, (prone to breakouts on my chin from time to time but no major acne) and have tried loads of different skincare over the years.
Used Liz Earle for ages but it started clogging my pores as they changed the formula. For the last few months I have been using philosophy purity cleanser but I think it is maybe a bit too harsh for my skin as I am now getting flaky patches around my nose.
I have been reading up on Elemis (and watching QVC which is always dangerous) and am considering getting the Lime Blossom balancing cleanser and Lavender toner, anyone used Elemis products and can recommend (or not?). They have a pretty good freebies offer going on at the minute which ends today so am very tempted!

I would say it's worth it - I have used it for years. I have very reactive/ sensitive skin and find it difficult to find products that work for me.
The beauty of QVC is that you can return the product (even after using it) within 30 days if you find it's not right for you. So if your not sure about the product, at least you wont loose a tonne of cash by buying off QVC
Post this on the 'no buying unnecessary toiletries' thread - you will be amazed at the wealth of knowledge/advice on this subject!
Hope you get sorted.

Same here - love the stuff and never had a bad reaction. I love marine collagen cream best xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Is the pro-collagen marine cream more suited to more mature skin or do people of all ages use it? I thought it was meant to be anti-aging but have heard people my age (mid 20s) say they love it!0

Their Papaya Enzyme peel gets good reviews but I've never actually tried it. May be good for healing the skin if you have some marks left from spots.11th Heaven prizes Number 103

The pro marine is good for any age - imho.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

I like elemis products and find they keep my skin stable but there are no wonder effects with them i.e. products don't make my skin significantly better but will make it ok and they smell divine! If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

I like the pro radiance wash.
I'm not a fan of the cream cleanser but thats because i don't like cream cleansers generally.
The PCMC is too light for me; expecially in the winter. It does feel fabulous to apply tho. Really light and soft and cooling.
For my skin i don't think elemis is worth it; but it might be for you iyswim? I'd second the QVC suggestion. Try one thing at a time (either cleanser/toner or PCMC) so you can tell what it is that is working or not working.
Trying a whole new regime all at once might give you good skin but you may really only be getting wonder benefit with one product and no need to spend out on the others.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
Love Love love Elemis.
Am of the age where I've tried loads of brands and this is the first range where I have enjoyed using them, really feels like quality products and very comforting.
Bought loads from TimetoSpa and QVC have loads aswell. Am waiting for their TSV to arrive.:beer:0 -
If you email them direct they will do a skin consultation and 15% first order as well as sending you any samples they have in the products they recommend. i found the customer service to be fantastic! Can't comment on the product till the samples arrive though!House saving Targets:
