I was wondering if I could pick the brains of the Forum please?
Hypothetical Situation 1:
- I have a ride-on lawnmower and I'd like to rent it out. I have a trailer etc. to get it to customers. I am not pinning my hopes of retirement on this business and only expect to rent it out one or two days a fortnight. Do I need any special licenses or insurance to rent it out? Note: I wouldn't be cutting the grass myself - just dropping off the lawnmower and then collecting it a few hours later.
- I have a Pink Limo (don't ask) in good condition. I'd like to start doing Kids party hire. I know someone who does this and basically it just involves taking groups of girls to McDonalds and back. A parent(s) is present so no there is no supervision of the children. What license do I need to legally take the kids in the Limo? Do I need any clearance for working with the children?
