going rate for clothes at a car boot?

We're doing a carboot next weekend to have a good clear out, and I've sorted through my wardrobe as well as I was aware I had a number of tops & a couple of denim skirts that I can't fit into anymore, but are still in fab condition. As the tops were from primark not really worth selling on ebay, they're just plain t-shirts.
How much do clothes usually sell for roughly at a carboot?

There is a whole board on ebay where you may get more ideas.
But in my experience, prob 50p for unbranded plain t-shirts in good nic. £1 for unbranded nice tops, skirts, Jeans etc.
If good makes maybe £2-£3 per item.
Good luck0 -
I agree with the above:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

All depends on brand really. I've sold generic highstreet brand stuff for a pound each in the past. At the same time I went to a carboot last year where there was a rail of vintage clothing - bought a Laura Ashley dress and a Jaeger one, I would say both are from the 80's and they cost me £5 each.
The Laura Ashley one didn't fit so I sold it on ebay - auction ended at over £20 for that, so I was happy and the other one I'm wearing now (also used it for Goodwood Revival last year).
You can definately get more for certain vintage items at boot sales, but they're probably better being sold on ebay if my experience is anything to go by.£2012 in 2012 member #15: £651.55/£20120 -

Lucky people who get £1.
There are so many people selling clothes at out local boot sales that nothing goes for more than 50p. Most stuff goes for around 25p.
I am going to use one of the recycling services, they pay 50p per kilo for clothes, belts, bags and stuffed toys. Some will even collect from you.0 -
