Asda cancelled grocery order and didn't tell me. Grrr

Did a large Asda order online on friday for delivery yesterday on 10-6 delivery.
Checked bank account approx 10.30 to see no money taken out for order so thought I would check on Asda website to see if all was okay and was horrified to see order cancelled. Rang them and they said there was a problem with my bank account so they could not take the money, they would check with the local store and ring me back to let me know if I could still have delivery that day. I rang my bank and was told the account was fine and Asda had not asked for the money.
Rang Asda again 2 hours later as they hadn't rung me and was told "nothing we can do, we sent a text to your mobile to advise of a problem". I don't have a mobile number listed on the account, just home number but they didn't care about this. I asked why they don't ring the home number or even email but was told they just txt the mobile but they don't know the accounts without these listed as its just automated.
What a stupid system, have told them I will be sending a letter of complaint to head office but the guy on the phone didn't care less.
Suffice to say, Asda have now lost a customer and I had to drive to Mr T's to do my shopping.

The same happened to me 3 times with ASDA & twice with Tesco. That's why I don't do online grocery shopping anymore.0

Argh, how annoying. I used to use Asda delivery but there was almost always some problem with my order, usually something out of stock and a rubbish replacement or no replacement at all or often I found that special offers nd multi buys hadn't gone through. I gave up and just went and got my own shopping instead. On the odd occasion I do shop online it's always with Ocado and I have to say they have always been excellent.0

Asda also cancelled my shopping without telling me, no call, no text, nothing.
i rang them asking why, and they said they didn't even know!!Save, save, save, save.0 -
Hence why I don't shop online at Asda.:( I've never had a problem with Ocado, Tesco or Sainsburys.:T
Felines are my favourite
