Eye drops with RGP contact lenses

I wear a hard contact lens and lately, presumably because of the heat and sweat, I have been getting greasy deposits on the lens and wondered if anyone could recommend eye drops which will clear these bits.
There used to be drops I used many many years ago which cleared all the deposits and soothed at the same time, but I can't remember what they were and whether they are still on the market.
Thanks in advance.

Boots have some, called something like Soothing Eye Drops, which are suitable for use with RGP lenses. I sometimes buy some to take on holiday instead of a big bottle of wetting solution.

I don't know how effective they would be at clearing the deposits though, you might need to take them out and give them a rub for that.

I use Blink contacts eye drops, a pack of 20 is £4 odd at Amazon. They clean the lens without removing it, absolutely brilliant.
