bought 2 new tops for work and of course on first wear I spilled tea on both ( I haven't many so every top is precious!).

Searched the internet and have tried vinegar, bicab, washing up liquid but they are still there. Probably not helped by the fact I like builders tea.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Meames

Have you hung it out in the full sunshine for a few hours? The sunshine might bleach the tannin out for you :)

    They are t shirts material.

I washed one as normal then went through the vinegar etc route, as washing didn't work, the second went straight to the vinegar and just washed them both, but no good. i'll stick them on the line ready for the morning.

Theres a product called 'Shout' which is supposed to be stain removing or have you just tried in a bowl, and just rubbing with ordinary household soap. The old remedies are usually the best.
