Why are the Search rewards so low now? 1p for clicking 4 links each on 4 searches?! Not worth it.

I use it during the course of the day and it soon mounts up, then I move on to Swagbucks and other toolbars. Its better than being paid nothing by Google.
  • Does anybody know how I can get in contact with the InboxPounds team please? I have a cash offer that hasn't shown on my account yet, so want to chase it up.

I generally get 3 or 4p for each set of 4 searches/clicks. So get to the 15p max quite rapidly just with ordinary searching.

  • I signed up last week, made £21 in two days. First pound free, quite a few searches and a whole bunch of annoying surveys and signing up to Audible and then cancelling straight away, they're run by Amazon so the cancelation option is easy. That was how I got the first 50%. It was a lot of time and quite addictive at first.

The rest was signing up to a well known bingo site, depositing the required £5 (minimum deposit is a tenner though) but then getting the money refunded. I have to say though I wouldn't recommend doing the bingo sites, you risk not getting your money back. It took some haggling with customer services as they wanted all my ID before they would do it which is ridiculous considering they only had to refund to PayPal, but after a couple of conversations I got it back without ID and I got my commission. Failing getting the money back you could just gamble it away anyway and hope that the commission does credit and you'll still end up in the plus at least a couple of quid. The credit did take a few days to come through.

So it is possible in a very short amount of time. Things have slowed now though given I've done most of all the risk free offers. My cheque is on the way, should be processed next week. I'm currently on £1.50.

My advice, don't bother with long surveys, anything over 10 mins just not worth it unless they're paying in pounds rather than pence.

Do a several searches a day. It's peanuts but prorata its too easy not to.

Look out for free offers that don't require any deposit.

Only do offers that have a good cancellation policy if you have to sign up. Avoid offers where you have to give money unless you don't mind the risk/gamble.

Stay away from the Bingo and Casinos unless you are prepared to risk loosing a deposit and don't mind uploading ID like a drivers license. If you really have to do them, stick to the big names like William Hill that have history, but not big names that are big just because they have an advert on the TV, one bingo casino comes to mind.

If you view it in how much it works in pounds per hour if doing the surveys it's just not worth while, but if you fancy a £20 cheque in the post to spend on something then it's worth while, especially when it makes more than most regular savings accounts in interest. That said you could make more money in less time washing cars around your local area.
  • Just tried signing up with an ntlworld.com email address and keeps saying it isn't valid. Spoke to them on chat and after several times of me explaining that i am trying to sign up and 'Derek' keep telling me he couldn't find my account, he eventually understood what was happening and in the end said there is nothing he can do as the sign up is a generated system issue. I then received a copy of the chat to my email address! Think i will give up!

That's crazy. I have to be fair the support is hit and miss. I think I've used the live chat twice, first time I got an answer to my question, second time was an issue and they couldn't resolve it.

I don't blame you. It's a lot of effort if you're not getting anywhere. If you do I'd make a new email account on say google mail or similar as you will get a lot of email offers and spam! It's probably not worth the effort though given the run around you've had.
  • Congratulation! I signed up 2 days ago and have so far £11, but these surveys are driving me crazy. In the middle of the survey they say I'm not the match. Waste of time. Maybe I will manage to make the £20 soon and then I give up. They earn much more on selling our details (proper details!) than you will ever earn on this site. Basically, a good business for them, not for us. :money:
