See, now I know you are a proper muso, 99% of toto fans are musicians! The just rock don't they! Jeff pocaro was my idol and simon phillips has class, style and chops (can you guess what I play? LOL). Truly awsome band who play in time AND in tune, how rare these days.

I have loads of phone numbers for some of the american and canadian cruise ships if you are interested. 52 isn't too old at all to crew, if you can roll a few cables, mic a stage and put monitors in their rightful spots you are good enough. Sure there is a bit of lifting but I manage and I'm a girl. I tend to leave the lugging of the desks to the guys and I don't stack the KF850s 750s etc, but I can fly a line array and do the rest. You might be a bit old for the gallowglass type of companies they are all aussie rugby players who can carry half a dozen steel decks in one hand!

Couldn't agree with you more on that. It was a sad day when Jeff passed, but, as you say, Simon's certainly no slouch.

I'm on the "big 3's" active list - after the hotel gig finished, did a month on P&O md'ing the rotating band.

If you have any contact numbers for "crewing companies for senior-ish musos", I'd be grateful.
