Default and credit advice?

Options
Hello

I had loan with PROVIDENT several years ago, and moved house a month after taking the loan. I sent several emails to them telling them of my move, called them 2wice and wrote a letter.
I heard nothing from them and 6 months later moved house again. Three years later I have them chasing me and a CREDIT DEFAULT. I have the emails saved that I sent to them.

They were aware of my move and my emails clearly stated that I had moved, my new address and that I had every intention of paying them back.

After trying to contact them several times and having no reply I gave up and assumed they just wrote it off, you may say that thinking that is silly but after notifying them many times theys hould have replied

Do i still owe this money? is it legal what they did?

Yes, they have upto 6 years. Why did you not just visit their local office?
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
