Hi all, I would welcome a bit of advice please... My partner and I are looking to move house very soon and will need to get a new mortgage. I am 27 years old, my credit history is fine (no missed payments, defaults, etc) and I earn £28k. My partner's history is not so good. She has 2 accounts that were defaulted in Jan…

Hi - if you satisfy the defaults and can get to 80% other things being equal (as obviously we do not know full facts) you will be able to get a mortgage.

Not necessarily the best terms in the world, but affordable for a couple of years to smooth over the adverse credit issues.

I almost exclusively deal in the trickier cases, and your case is achievable..
